Cranberry is rich in dietary fiber, anthocyanins, proanthocyanins, β-carotene, vitamin C, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and other micronutrients. Interestingly, 100g of fresh cranberries contains only 15 calories, while the same amount of dried cranberries contains 60 calories.
Cranberry juice is commonly used for treating bladder infections caused by E. coli bacteria.
